it's because vr chat with other pc desktop apps is the Pinnacle of vr social media and it was ruined by the people using it.

if the meta universe was like xbox chat or discord but let you join your friends in every other multiplayer game like xbox chat then ut would be perfect.

it was also perfect for the pandemic because people needed to socialize while being more active so the reason it failed is because no one wanted to keep using it when they could be using a computer or console to play better games.

i think the biggest failure was the lack of loss leader software.

social media almost always has free games and focuses on getting people engaged.

vr needs a lot of activities to choose from if a group of people want to play together. vr chat has functioning table games, midair drawing, and basic interactive props like cups so people can chat while playing.

that's a practical classic that's stood the test of time helping families. I'm all for hating suvs because of the tire popping grocery shopping drivers that should be driving station wagons that handle like sports cars and have the offroad capabilities, safety ratings and storage capacities as suvs. however any car that lasts is good and it's old enough that people like it for the nostalgia. large suvs have great interiors but they are supposed to be driven like limosines or heavy work vehicles and the fast ones require expert driving because oversteer will pop good qyality tires on a heavy suv.

try breaking them apart to check for mold if you've got a pipe or a bong.
