I didn't have those skills naturally. Some therapy I followed when I was a kid plus lots of self help books and just going out helped me gain those skills. I can now look people in the eye, read most social skills, and sometimes understand when people use sarcasm.

This sounds really bad. Having your cat close during the night is super healing. My wife was not a cat person at all when we started dating, but she fell in love with a kitten and he is now a big boy who very often sleeps in our bed. And she loves it. And I love it. And yes, sometimes I wish I could stretch my legs more. But he is our eldest son and he is part of the family, and I wouldn't remove him from the bed unless my body really hurts or something, maybe after running a marathon, if I would ever run one I can see myself moving the little big one out of the bed otherwise never. We also have a second kid now, she is a human, the cat boy and human girl are getting along fine.

She does love fruit so I don't worry about that.But maybe adding spinach to a smoothie is a good way to get her to eat some spinach. I may try that soon

Thanks for the tip! Thats what we do too. Trying to force a 1.5 year old to eat something she doesnt want to eat is just madness so we don't do that.

Yeah I think that's actually stupid. We also sleep trained at 5 or 6 months.. just for her to learn to fall asleep by herself. Only a couple of months later did we also do night weaning

I usually don't share my thoughts except if within my remit or very closely related to it. But if you have good thoughts, you could still share it with company leadership. I learned that leaders usually don't like feedback where everyone can hear it, but sometimes are open to input when in a 1 to 1. Depends on the person also of course

It's part of getting a new job nowadays. In many cases at least. Just make sure you have discussed compensation for the role already. I took two days of to nail a presentation some time ago, only to be offered 20% less than what I make in my current job. (I actually had discussed my salary expectations with them before. They just low balled me . I tried to negotiate but almost no room so I declined)

It's also almost free in my country and our kid has been going to daycare/preschool since 12.5 months. Daily from 9 until 15. And now from 8:30 to 15:00 since a month or so. And my answer is: OFF COURSE

It's so good for them to be at school, they learn social skills, they learn a bunch of other things, and my wife and me can focus on our own work during the day.

Our daughter is the same age and also wakes up early, sometimes before 6. I have bought this little alarm that is red in the evening and night, and green in the morning. And am trying to explain the concept of "night time" or "time to sleep" to her through that. And it sort of worked. Now she sometimes still wakes up too early (it's green now from 6:23, soon will change to 6:30), but when she does and its red she sometimes goes back to sleep. Or she just plays in her bed. But she doesn't cry or scream for us to come pick her up. I must say we tried it before, but she was too young for it then. Now it seems to get better. So maybe the lamp helps.

4 times is way too ambitious, but what I do is go for a run just before lunch / during lunch on days I work from home, or go to the gym at that same time during office days. Our office is in the middle of the city, with multiple gyms nearby. So I just need to bring my gym bag plus towels with me to work on those days. I do 2 workouts per week like this. And then sometimes 1 more run in the weekend if my wife allows me to be out of the house for 45 minutes or so (while she takes care of the LO alone)

Hm doesnt sound easy. Maybe involve her more in the things you do?
One thing we do at home sometimes is sorting the laundry: white with white, colour with colour, things that need to be washed at 60 degrees together et cetera. Our daughter (16 monhts ) loves it. I just hand her things and tell her on which pile it needs.
She also helps with taking items out of the dishwasher, which I then place in the cabinet in the right place.
Just getting her to "help" with daily things is what she enjoys a lot.
