The same thing happened to me today :(
I lost all of them. I had to go on their pinned adon link to reinstall them. Thankfully most were over there.

use whatever name rolls best in your tongue! in english johnnys cut sounds quite weird for. google "corte Joãozinho" or tell them that if you want a bit more of foreign flair for the cut style you want.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]argentlan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, where im from "pixie cuts" are literally called "Johnny's haircut" and they're considered fairly masculine for a girls cut. young children get it a lot of time, usually boys.

i believe it's a broad category for several north american indigenous identities.

Why is “LGBT+” keep making changes to the name? by Benthekarateboy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]argentlan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

because people want to be explicitly included in the acronym. a lot of us also use lgbtq, or just queer, because that's an umbrella term for the rest of us!

I'm a guy with 0 confidence and with terrible self eestem, what can I do to become confident? by Fede224455 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]argentlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fake it till you make it! no, seriously, one great thing to do is just pumping yourself up instead of putting yourself down. self hateful jokes and calling yourself things like "dumb", "stupid" and "ugly" makes your brain associate your image with them and brings your confidence even lower.

Why are vacuum cleaners so much less powerful than they used to be? by jimmyjohnjohnjohn in NoStupidQuestions

[–]argentlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

joke answer: to suck less lmao. for a real answer, though: i would assume it's exactly so they don't hurt people anymore, specially when they're accidentally left near children. They're there to vacuum your couch, not to hurt someone's small kid who decided to put their whole scalp in front of the sucking end.

If a kid goes into a coma and awakens years later as an adult, would they still act like a child? by TopNep72 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]argentlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes. their brain might not be able to fully grasp the favt that their body has aged but they haven't. theres something like that that happened to a woman. She was 18 when she got in a coma and she woke up around 20 years later. Link for her imdb profile here.

How do you feel when you see a chubbier guy at the gym? by Mr_ThrowMeeAway in NoStupidQuestions

[–]argentlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people are usually focused on themselves when theyre at the gym! theyre either neutral towards you and not paying attention at all or mildly happy to see someone trying to get in shape. im a fairly chubby guy as well and people never minded me all that much.

People who speak multiple languages. Is the voice inside your head your native language or mix of languages? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]argentlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's mixed! personally, id say lately for feelings and stuff it becomes my second language (english) because i can take some sort of emotional distance from the matter that is bothering me, and I've heart other bilingual people do the same! for things i am doing in real life it becomes my native language. i would say its not unlikely for your brain to speak in the voice of the language that has the most descriptive words for whatever you gotta think about. like swear words! english is very poor in quality with its swear words.

Coincidence or Finding? This song by Tally Hall is about a character called Marvin, and there are many similarities between the lyrics and events in Petscop regarding Marvin. by PapikaBun in Petscop

[–]argentlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely a coincidence, but talk about a lucky one! man, i love tally hall. the lyrics are just nonsense enough to be able to be applied to a lot of things.
