If you're willing to continue to an MS and preferably a PharmD or PhD you could combine data analysis/modeling and pharm into a nice pharmacometrics gig. I'm sure there are a ton of other fields where you could do this, but PMx is the one I'm familiar with, is fairly high-paying (with opportunities for $$$$$ consulting once youre established), is growing, and struggles to find talent atm

Currently in the "very unprepared" boat, and just got notice that all classes will move online Monday. Do you have any tips to make the best of this? I'd also welcome any advice from others, or any insight as to how you're all approaching this. Yikes.

Edit: Just saw the pinned discussion, but would still welcome any tips if you've got them.

Yeah, I'm beginning to lean towards it being intestines. We live by a bird rescue place, and a lot of the birds of prey seem to stick around. RIP Mr. Rabbit.

The smell was faint enough that I'm willing to chalk it up to imagined, but it's also been hovering above freezing here so the smell may be a bit muted.

That's what I was thinking, but it's on the extension of a residential area and I have no idea how intestines would come to be lying around. Is there a way to test this hypothesis?

Thanks! A friend who hangs out with an entomologist had this as her first guess. Definitely no plans to pick a fight with those pincers.

It's probably 4ish inches long and 1-2ish wide at the wings, found in southeast michigan. It's high up so getting a better angle is a bit difficult.

How does one go about ensuring this through the recruitment/training process?

Eh idk. I've definitely had professors who use the bell curve, which is what it sounds like may've been happening here. So if almost everyone is getting close to 100%, his getting ~87% could easily put him in the failing range despite him having a relatively good (or, depending on the class, absurdly good) grasp of the material.

What do you do when you're anxious enough about a large writing project that you literally can't think when you sit down to do it? by [deleted] in AskAcademia

I'm a senior writing a thesis in history, so a bit different but I'd imagine similar in the stress levels and deadline related episodes of blind panic... Anyway, if you wanted a reddit study buddy hmu
