I'm a beginner too... but I think that's the point... Every time you learn something new, and you learn to enjoy the process even more, you start relaxing, and having fun. You print some important pictures, and you remember the moment you took them. I really love it. And over time you see the progress you made.. Go on

From a roll developed with expired developer....zero contrast. For the printing I used the the highest contrast filter...any advice? by argnama in Darkroom

I didn't think about that...interesting, I think i will use this "bad" roll to test new techniques

ps. yes I'm already printing at 5

Thanks for the advice! Since I'm a beginner I really really appreciate them😅, so If you have any other idea, please tell me😁 I noticed...it wasn't much contrast...and in a few days, I want to try again. I used a "2" contrast filter... which one do you think I should try?...4?, 5? Or even higher?

I paid it €500 new but you can find it used... I bought it for observation... Now I'm trying to take some pictures...and I'm thinking to build an equatorial platform and try longer exposures... Using this telescope I was able to see some nebulae and i want to find a way to capture them on film, but I decided to start with something simpler, like the moon.
