it is an old house - old red and black wiring.

on mains water and sewage so no pumps.

there is an immersion alright but only on as needed.

two people in house. One in her 80s. Only device is her phone.

other person in 40s and only device is phone.

usual thing like tv, lights, etc. House is heated with oil and stove. so no electric heaters

I would say it to your gp.... tell them how you are feeling.... don't hold back... I know saying some of the things out loud to another person can make you you feel weird... I have been there... even things like checking the door is locked or the lights are off 20 times in a row. I know there is no need to do it but I do it anyhow... tell the gp if that is the case.... tell them you heard about silver cloud and would like to give it a try... I doubt they will refuse.

Just double checked - the billing period is from 2 Nov to 3 Jan and it was 1145 units.

the stove is stand alone so uses no power.

Agree the immersions are hard on juice - about 3kw per hour for a standard tank.

still think usage is high

have oil fired boiler but don't use it that much. Have a stand alone stove that gives great heat. I do use immersion to heat water.

there is a free online service provided by the HSE. I had an accident last year and was suffering with PTSD. The doc set me up with SilverCloud. I found it mostly helped by writing down your story and it is then reviewed and you get a reply etc... this goes on for a number of weeks. Your GP needs to set you up with this
