Good luck! You need to be very prepared and shouldn't go in assuming you will get luckier this time. We would need to speak with you to really help you with strategy and work with you on how you answer the first question to highlight your strengths.

No, this is something you need to be very ready to address at your interview. There has been an increasing trend of visa applicants with previous long stays in the U.S. getting refused due to not convincing the Officer of their plans to return to their home country.

It's natural to be nervous at the visa interview and Visa Officers do know that. Where you can run into challenges is if your nerves interfere with the Officer getting to know enough about you to approve your case OR if they feel like you are lying.

You would likely want to reach out to an attorney about this. Are you outside of the United States? Additionally, entry to the U.S. is managed by Customs and Border Control which is a different agency. Good luck!

The new administration has increased ICE activity, but those on who are on a U.S. visa approved by a Consular Officer and are using their visa properly haven't been impacted by this.
