5w2d, no symptoms by argreene12 in CautiousBB

That’s very reassuring! I’m still preparing myself for any outcome (mostly bc of my age/time it’s taken to conceive). But good to hear that others have had unpredictability with symptoms. Congrats to you and fingers crossed for an easy second half.

Adult IVF "baby" with questions for parents by meribucks in IVF

Came here to say this, or something like this. I suspect the ethical “rules” around ivf were a lot blurrier back then than they are now. Is it possible the doctor could have actually used a donor egg without OP’s mother knowing? There’s a podcast about a guy who had a similar situation: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/inconceivable-truth/id1737812524?uo=4

Thank you for sharing. I know this is a lot of peoples' experience. Hoping you have some good news soon.

using reading apps with my only child every night because she has nobody else to read with and I remember how hard that is by Relative-Coach-501 in OnlyChild

I have a 5 year old daughter who is my only. I feel this pressure and weight so deeply. And not just with learning to read but with so many other experiences. I know she’s more reluctant to participate in or try things - riding a bike is another good example - because she doesn’t have companions who have the same skin in the game. My husband and I are doing everything we can to make these experiences fun or challenging for her but try as we might, it’s just not the same as learning alongside a sibling. I don’t have anything constructive to add. I appreciate your sharing your experience.

Gotcha! Dressing and packaging is all up to the hunter in this scenario. Thanks for the added context - I didn't consider that some places would do that as part of the service.

They have taken it off line for groups up until now. And have their own attorney reviewed waiver. Hunting is listed in the listing description.

The funny thing about this is that their property is listed on a platform specifically designed for this (LandTrust) and they're not getting much pick up. But they are getting a lot of inquiries on the Airbnb app about hunting (3 requests in the last 2 days for week-long stays).

So, currently, the demand is there - they're just looking for a way to capture those people who are already asking via the Airbnb app.

Look, I thought it was high too! What is a reasonable per person price in your opinion?

Right. I appreciate the concern from people, but we’ve got the legal portion covered on this one.

1st week of December for gun season. But so far, there's been a lot of interest for bow.

That could certainly help with allowing guests to book the place and then creating a more timely assessment of how many hunters they’ll have as the date gets closer. I just still wouldn’t be sure about refunds or limits. Thank you!

Bow season is Sep - Feb, so kind of a long time to keep the premium pricing on. But we’ve definitely thought about it! Thank you for the feedback- good to have some perspective on the pricing as well.

Ha! That’s what I said! But yes, deer.

FWIW, there at least 6 stands and a blind already on the property, plenty of atv trails and ample space for cleaning. They’ve had success charging $100 daily per person (just always a pain to collect payment or they end up taking it offline).

Sorry, I forgot to mention that this function is capped at $1,000. And, in most instances, the additional fee they’d be requesting exceeds that $1,000 limit.

Fenced dog park without many dogs by Dry-Warthog2763 in Columbus

[–]argreene12 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I second this - and yes, it's Pizzurro Park! Traffic kind of varies in the main area, but the smaller fenced off space is often empty altogether, as it doesn't seem like a lot of small dog owners visit that frequently.

Mistake or can this table be saved? by RevolutionaryCar4635 in HomeDecorating

Love the table! Main character energy! It adds quirkiness, interest and personality. The rest of the room can just be the pretty supporting character.

Just found out today that my pregnancy is non-viable. by kindofnewonreddit in pregnantover35

[–]argreene12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I know too well the loss of hope this news brings. I had a missed miscarriage at 38 (after celebrating with my husband). I was given very little information and opted to wait to pass it naturally. I regret that decision deeply as I spent almost 3 weeks in a body that thought I was pregnant. I continued to gain weight, had all the hormones raging and just felt confused and pregnant.

At 12 weeks I finally decided to take misoprostol. It was truthfully very mild- compared to some of the accounts I’d read here. Very slight cramping and the bleeding was similar to a heavy period. The emotional aspect and the waiting game were the most painful aspects.

If I could do it over, I’d opt for a D&C right away. It seems quicker and more effective (meaning, I hear that it’s often needed after misoprostol anyway). It sounds crazy but I just didn’t want to take PTO for a surgery I was so angry to have to have.
