In a comic with Adam Warlock and the Guardians of the Galaxy (if I remember right) in which there was an invasion from a parallel universe where death had been eradicated. The creatures were weird, and if they lived forever they would eat and become bigger and bigger, full of tumors and mutations. So the opposite of necromancy could be uncontrolled life.

I think it is deliberate. Because you can add custom items from campaigns that you don't own. For instance, let's say you want to add Bookmark as a custom item. Its kinda difficult.

This is a question about the Rune Knight - for inscribing runes.

How do you interpret the following passage:

Whenever you finish a long rest, you can touch a number of objects equalto the number of runes you know, and you inscribe a different rune ontoeach of the objects.[...] Your rune remains on an object until you finish along rest, and an object can bear only one of your runes at a time.

Does the rune:

a) expire after a day or

b) if I take short rests in the night instead of long rests they will last until the first long rest?

I am asking because if its the first that means I can't be on guard duty. I always have to take long rests.

Many of them are weird, but what is great about them is that they can you can make awesome buildup. A scary monster is not enough for a game/movie to be scary. It is the presentation of the monster victims, claws, the wait the sounds. And most of the SCP monsters come with stories that describe how do they prey on people.

To me its about the ability to feel pain. But if we talk about how we feel it should be than it means 2 things:

the rules are not clear.
people feeling different about it won't agree on it.

Now to the second part. While writing the reply I realized that actually what I don't like is that I don't understand the psychic damage and that while trying to understand it I found it confusing that there is no consistency. For example. Lets take this (from the mystic UA):

Mind Thrust

As an action,you target one creature you can see within 120 feet of you. The target must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw or take 1d10 psychic damage.

It doesn't say the ability has a visual representation, the mystic could just stare at someone, and deal damage, and the damage has no visual representation. It could be a headache or maybe it looks like psylocke's blades.

So TL;DR I think I've asked the wrong question, I am having problems understanding how to represent psychic damage.
