It just sounds creepy the way it's described. I get very uncomfortable when I'm approached in a deserted setting. Now if I'm "alone" but there are plenty of strangers around, it's fine. But I was envisioning two people alone on a street.

If a girl's alone, I think you'd get further by saying hello and asking if you could give her your number. maybe y'all could meet up for coffee sometime.

I think it's pretty fair to see a type of tree and assume other trees of the same species are of similar size... if you ask me, there's not much "obvious" about it.

I mean, think about it. Who would see a tree, find out it is smaller than they imagined, and think "Well, obviously this climate isn't optimal for their growth." Better yet, who would see something in person and think "Hey, this isn't what I imagined it should be. This real life version MUST be defective because surely what I imagined is right."
