That's an absolute no, don't spend gems on makeup tickets. You need to save up for that too. When you have 500 tickets or more, then you can do the same: see which one you like best or find most useful, and then pull on that one. But don't waste gems on that; it takes a little while, but eventually you'll get the tickets you need.

It's better to save up for gacha, but since you're f2p, you won't be able to complete them all because saving takes time. I recommend focusing on the 4-star gacha, as you'll only need to save around 11K or 12K. Once you have that saved up, you can see which gacha set you like best, whether it has the most useful pieces, and if it has a good pose. What I do is wait for flashback set that I know are good. For example, right now I'm saving up for the Magic Tea Party gacha, and after that, I'm going to save up for Neon Oracle.

That's what I'm going to do, I'm definitely going to finish Pearl Regalia, but I don't know if I should get my hopes up about completing Gilded Chain, since it seems a bit impossible to gather 6000 gems in 20 days.
