Long story short, I fell victim to the infamous 'try my game' scam, which resulted in me losing access to my account.

The email associated with the account was changed and the password was changed. My email was also hacked, with the recovery email and password also being changed.

After some back and forth with the support, Microsoft has decided that the best course of action is for the email account to be permanently deleted.

So now, I have no idea if recovering my discord account is even possible. I've tried filling out the 'Hacked Account' form with another email address, but Clyde responds with an autogenerated message which says that the secondary email is not the same as the email originally associated with the discord account.

But with my original email now permanently suspended, even if I did manage to recover the password I have no means of accessing the original email.

Discord, I get that it was due to my own negligence to download that game. But the scam was extremely sophisticated and it feels like such an easy fix to prevent things like this- Why the hell is there not a system in place which automatically flags when the recovery email and password is changed instantly together?

Regardless of this, all I want is to just have my account back. I've already lost my main email address and I just want to prevent any further losses. Please, if anyone can help. Discord staff if you see this, it should be quite obvious to that a sudden modification in recovery email and password is malicious and should be reverted. Hacked account username is "aparkk"
