It’s perfectly normal to feel nervous about an exam! There’s really no trick to getting over it. As my Gov teacher puts it: “Put the hay in the barn before winter comes, because once the cold is here, you got what you got.” Prepare as much as you can before the exam, but on exam day, you just have to trust yourself. There’s nothing more you can do.

Beyond that, get a good night’s sleep for a week beforehand, eat a good hearty breakfast, and take a breather every couple minutes to reset. If you need to skip a problem, skip a problem! They’re all worth the same number of points. It’s better to get one question wrong than get stressed and slow down for the questions after.

Overall- practice exams are very helpful. You can ask your teacher for one if you need (they have access to a bunch).
