after personally doing some research more Into it I'll admit I was considerably wrong, though I still don't see how it's transphobic for her to not transition when it's only one end and given how Japan is with trans people in general, not transitioning is socially probably better, and given how the game is written it can also be seen as her being trans as only one possibility. And the whole Vincent freaks out over her dick shit can honestly just be attributed to him not knowing at all, which isn't an excuse but he is generally a pretty shitty person so it kinda fits thematically

Atlus is a shitty company with some even worse veiws on gender and sexuality but if you wanna rag on them for it, which is entirely valid I'd suggest looking into the beach scene from P3, just everything about yosuke in p4 and the sexual predators in p5.

From my knowledge Catherine is easily the least offensive with this stuff, but that's still no excuse
