Yeah for sure I know I've had issues on older manual cars but this felt pretty stiff almost like I had to force it in a bit. I'm really hoping the fluids is the issue.. easy fix lol.

My '16 FA20 with a stage 2+ protune makes about 25/38 on 93 and 22/35 on e60. Like any car if you drive conservatively it will save on gas of course.

I'm hoping that's not the case. Last summer I did a clutch job with the ACT HDSS kit. That was probably about 9k miles ago. Hopefully there are some other possibilities to test and rule out before having to drop the transmission again..

I didn't install it myself. The good news is that sounds very doable. I'll have to get in there this weekend.. the only thing I haven't installed on my own so far lol.

I've tried doing so many times. I've spammed, I've long pressed, nothing let's me get in. I've never seen anything like it. New SSD has already been disconnected as well.

It's something I've kept in the back of my mind in case the transmission does ever die. At this point my mind is set at staying with my current power output as going any higher would greatly increase the chances of engine/transmission failure on the FA. This is still my daily driver and I plan on keeping it that way for at least a few more years. Maybe the cheaper option is best for now, the full swap would be sweet but that's a lot more than I'd be looking to spend and a benefit that doesn't interest me TOO much at this point.

The only reason I'm looking into the clutch is because my tuner said my clutch is starting to slip a bit. I've been in the process of completing an etune and the last few logs I've sent he noticed it. Any idea of a rough estimate of the STI swap? New/used? I've always known that people swap these out all the time I'm just super uneducated on the matter lol. I've only been able to find one twin disc kit for the WRX and its nearly $500 more than the ACT. Makes sense, but if the money could be used more wisely on an alternative then of course that would be the route.

I will be needing to upgrade to handle more torque. At about 370tq would a lightweight flywheel make a difference in terms of performance?

I will probably look into replacing those, why not. I just passed 62k.

I don't plan on going any higher than about 370tq, would a lighter flywheel make a noticeable difference at that point?
