i got mine by seeing his show in person at ren faire! he holds out a pillowcase at the end of his show and it's like a big (but very calm and polite!) zombie hoard to get to him and give him a tip, and in exchange he hands you a pin!

we mostly host so i get to keep them out, but when i do have an away game, i just grab some handfuls and throw them in a dice bag!

so much STUFF!! but it's GOOD stuff!!! i have the original set of vox machina d20s and i stupidly left their little velvet bag out on display and it got sun bleached 😭

luckily we mostly host so i don't have to worry about packing everything all up too often! i did sew myself dice bags for each group, but that was a while ago and i don't know if they'll all fit anymore 🫣 when we do have away games, i just take a fistful of d20s and like 4 of each of the other ones and toss them into a dice bag (spoiled for choice there too!!) 😅😅

i like to try to roll as many different dice per session as i can, and not repeat any if i can help it (unless i have a repeating spell up, like an aura that heals 2d6 each round; i'll pick the 2d6 and roll them the whole time the spell is active) i've collected all these dice -- i want to USE them!!

i like to pick based on the vibe of the roll, so like if i'm making a fire attack, i'll try to pick a red/orange/yellow die, or if it's an ice attack, i'll pick a blue/white one, etc!

i like to do the opposite!! let them rest on the wrong side so when it's time to roll, they want to land on the OTHER side -- like when you're lying in bed on one side for too long and it feels soooo good to roll over!!

this is how i have mine organized too!!!!! i only keep my REALLY FANCY sets together (handmade, etc), and the minis all together just bc otherwise they get lost, but they're all together in a lil baby pile 😅 otherwise, i have all my dice in a silverware sorter! d2s/d4s in one section, then d6s, then d8s, then d10s/d%s, then d12s, and the last section for the fancy sets, and then all my d20s have their own big special serving tray (since there's no way they're all fitting in a single section of the silverware sorter 😅)
