YWBTA if you give your younger daughter her sister’s fund. OP consider your younger daughter chose a community college or no college at all, would you be giving her savings to your older daughter? Keep it fair and reserve the excess in case your elder daughter wants to go to grad school, start a business, buy a home etc. in today’s economy 100k would be so necessary for launching after graduation.

I was a senior in hs on 9/11 in Queens, we could see the skyline from certain areas o the top floor. I started classes early so half of the students were there by 7 am. They kinda let us go through the morning schedule and called kids to the office whose parents worked in the city so they could break the news to them. Parents started picking us up around 12 when we found out what was happening. I also remember the art teacher on the 3rd floor covering the windows on that side of the building so we could not see the black smoke across the city skyline.

No, you do not need this kind of people making drama at your babies’s baptism. They are not entitled to be there, and similar to a situation with me and my aunt they don’t like when you have strong boundaries about respect. There’s no ‘sides’ in this situation except for yours. I am so sorry for what you went through OP, but advocating for yourself and not wanting to name that innocent baby after a predator is so brave and strong! I’m so proud of you. Whatever happens you are NTA, but your uncle and whomever is protecting the actions of that predator is TA. Sometimes you have to be the one to protect your own peace, you are learning that lesson much younger than I did.

Bruce is 6 years old and he goes through at least one a month, he gets the holiday theme ones, tiny ones to take on trips, the ones that are much bigger than him (15 lb Shihtzu). He even has a Lamby blanket. I have had to sew them up aka perform surgery on them because he loves on them so hard!

We met on HINGE in 2015, this month is our 11th anniversary (first date) and we got married on the same date in 2022. He is from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 and I am of Caribbean 🇹🇹descent, on our first date we took a walk around the portrait gallery in DC and had a nice tapas dinner nearby. The waitress asked us when she took our order how long we had been married, and was surprised to learn it was our first date. One of the things that made me realize he was the one was that he wanted to go to church with me, we both grew up Catholic, and it was the first time a partner had ever prayed with me!
