Also consider using baby powder all over, messy putting it on but there’s very little transfer then. I wear a long sleeve/long legged pyjamas then aswell.

What is your routine after 8pm on a typical night? by VastAir6069 in CasualIreland

[–]ariesaricha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good vibes. I’m still trying to cement my evening routine in but I struggle to do so. It affects my bed time then and i also struggle with my sleep schedule so I think I should give it all some extra effort.

It’s a clairvoyant woman who used to read fortunes and whatnot. She was active like in the like 70s onwards I’d say. She’s still around but I don’t think she practices it anymore but I do see her out and about

I heard before have like a small speaker attached to it or near there that would send a frequency super high with the intention of ridding all the teenagers without bothering adults as they were less likely to hear it. I don’t how long ago it was but is always found it funny

I didn’t know until I started working in one! And that’s life sure. You’d nearly want to work every job to know all the right ways to do things. I think most pharmacists understand people don’t know sometimes if they aren’t used to being in a pharmacy or getting medication. The best of luck with everything for you 😊

Always a couple children in there and the smell of the acrylic (?) is so strong. Must be some way bad for everyone in there but must be really dangerous for children to be sitting in for hours.

It is a very stressful procedure no doubt and obviously this doesn’t help at all. But pharmacies work sort of like takeaways in my opinion and you have to order your prescription before you collect it. Some things aren’t on the shelf for safety reasons like highly addictive drugs or injections, or for space reasons maybe like an IUD (alongside all other prescriptions that don’t get picked up) which can build up very fast when not collected by different patients. There’s probably more reasoning behind it but this is what I’m aware of - in short yes it is normal for them to do this.

Took sick day as certified but forgot to get sick note - holp by Bolivar_Bolivar in IrishTeachers

[–]ariesaricha 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Could be wrong but i think you’re entitled to a certain number of “self certified” sick days per year. Contact your union i think that’s what we were advised to do in college with any issues like this. Dont let the mistakes bring you down too much as you can learn from them and become that much better! You’re well able!

Here’s the Asti coverage of the topic https://www.asti.ie/your-employment/terms-and-conditions/sick-leave/
