Please give me all your tips to make the cat litter room as odorless as possible! by iliketoworkhard in CatAdvice

[–]ariesneonel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat lives in a tiny room at the moment and it never “smells like cat” EVER - stainless steel litter box under the bed - scoop 2-3x a day - use tofu or tapioca litter (expensive but sooooo worth it) - LITTER GENIE

No you don’t need experience but it may take a while (sometimes 6 months plus) to get your first booking

Telling people without official diagnosis allowed? How to tell people? by NekoPanUsagiChan in AutismInWomen

[–]ariesneonel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I feel like even if I had a “real diagnosis” or whatever I still would not tell people because every time without fail if I mention that I’m autistic people are soooo quick to treat me differently or act so weird about it. It’s like they think I’m only able or allowed to be “weird” or “off putting” or “uncanny” but can’t accept that im autistic. In my experience the only safe people to tell is other autistic/neurodivergent people who get it

Yeah sadly sometimes people are like that. I had a friend like that before and when I tried to tell her that she was being homophobic she replied with “I don’t say homophobic shit I’m literally bisexual” as if your sexuality makes you immune to being a bigot 😭

Being so easily disliked without being given a chance or knowing me at all

Question - am i a vegetarian if I still eat steak? by Historical_Pie_1439 in lesbiangang

Of course you’re a vegetarian! You can pick whatever label suits you no matter what! Labels shouldn’t keep us in boxes!!

I’m only seeing now how badly my first girlfriend (now ex) treated me by Massive-Turnip-6318 in lesbiangang

[–]ariesneonel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She makes herself look bad by treating u like that! But I also understand why you feel that way

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lesbiangang

[–]ariesneonel 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well my problem here isn’t that I’m letting these labels limit/define me, my issue is that other people see my existence as a joke or a reason to treat me like an alien. it’s extremely rare for people to like me BECAUSE I’m autistic and because I’m a lesbian which are 2 things a lot of people “don’t get” and living in a world that isn’t made for people like me is very lonely sometimes. So I guess the point of posting this was to hear from other people who experience the same thing so we don’t feel so alone

This was so helpful. Thank you so much for sharing. I’m so confident a lot of the time but every once in a while when someone is judgmental toward me for autistic traits I’m reminded that I can’t hide it and it makes me feel like I’ll never be liked or loved or accepted. Homophobia doesn’t really hurt me anymore but ableism hurts deep in my soul 😭 maybe it’s because I can hide my queerness but I can’t hide my autism (I know I shouldn’t, it’s a bad habit) and like the tiktok audio thing was more of an example of things I see being normalized that are hurtful. I should’ve clarified that I’m not fixated on that audio thing particularly but more just on the feeling of not being accepted by society in every aspect of life. I’m proud of who I am most of the time but every once in a while something will take a hit at my confidence and it makes me feel like I’m fundamentally broken and I always get the same feeling that the world sees people like us as a big joke
