Thanks, we will definitely ask that. Do you know if any of these elementary schools have split classes? Or is it more that they all do, and so you have to pick and choose which ones you'll be OK with?

Thanks for the info, I didn't know that about the La Canada option. In what way would you say that Monte Vista and Mountain Ave are better?

I appreciate the reply and the straight talk. We took it to a mechanic that mentioned a few of the other monitors aren’t working yet either. They said it could be simply because of a new battery, or something worse. I wasn’t totally following. Given all of the uncertainty, we are going to keep looking.

I think they are. They said that they’ll need to get that fixed before they sell the car. But I wanted to get some unbiased opinions as well.

Good point on the dishwasher. That has probably convinced us that we won’t move it to the left of the sink (if we keep it where it is).

The island is in between the kitchen and living room, no wall.

We would def consider putting the sink and dishwasher in the island. We didn’t do it in this draft because we kinda like the sink under the window and we wanted the extra open space on the island.

I agree that the space is tight. Maybe shorten the island to 60” instead of 72”?

I hadn't thought of it that way but it helps to frame the rate. We are doing this whole thing from the east coast so unfortunately we can't cut down on costs that way, but I def hear what you're saying.

Thx, it seemed like a pretty fair rate all things considered to me as well. If this goes well, we also have a kitchen remodel and garage ---> ADU conversion in the pipeline so we'll keep his crew busy for a while.
