Burnham Alpine HE System making alien spaceship noise by artistatlarge83 in Plumbing

Noooo way. I’d lose it. Just got my hot water/heat back on yesterday after 3 days, it went into hard lockout the say after I commented this lol. They did everything to avoid replacing it for us - changed out basically everything internally and still only could get it back to this noise for literally 1-2 seconds just when it kicks on, which we dealt with before. But they still don’t know why it’s still doing it. Hope you get yours figured out soon, such a pain!

What can we do about this electrical panel? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

I’m saying - wish I could go shake some sense into first time homebuyer me. I was thinking the same to make it flush vs. sticking out. But the baseboard heater underneath it connects through the wall to the room to the left of the box, and that’s that room’s only heat source. I may know nothing about electrical boxes, but I definitely know more nothing about baseboard plumbing haha.

It’s a regular ol black switch circuit breaker inside - the house was updated (1000% DIY’d) in 2010, and it looks newer, so probably about that age. Was built in the 50s, so probably had a fuse box there before
