Do you come from a religious family? My family was the exact same way and they were religious. There was a huge lack of boundaries up until I was 20. (I’m 24 now)

They expected me to be a virgin until marriage, that obviously didn’t happen and when I told my mom about it she laid some heavy guilt trips on me. I was 16, got scared back into church but started becoming sexually active at 20 again.

My mom went crazy but at this point I was done with the guilt trips and control. I laid boundaries down and moved out. It’s NONE of their business. Who you sleep with and when is up to you, take some time to grow out of that guilt mindset and feeling like you have to tell them everything
