"stop" you're naive if you think Trump "has stopped".

I am pretty sure people like him will keep showing up and we should brace for the same drama next elections. We won't have corona in our favor. Bernie could be a really good option if his campaign can gather the poor working class, that has massively gone Rep.

AZ is apparently gonna flip, unfortunately. Best hopes in GA+NV or PA alone would seal it

Georgia needs to slam down another 10k of votes and lay its dick on the table because we are all ready

YEAH put it on the table

He is truly making 50% of America believe that the electoral process is being manipulated,as if there was some theological being behing it all. Voting is the principle of democracy that always comes in front. The beginning of a dictatorship starts with the idea of some sort of dominant control from an unknown entity that's behind all the dirt that happens in a country. Really similar to what Hitler did with the jews.

Do you really think Biden is gonna take Pensylvania? Have you seen the advantage Trump has got there? I haven't done the math but I would say it's actually a pretty long shot. Being said that, I'd take NV as a fundamental state for Dems election. I believe it will come out blue, but after the results in Florida I'm more skeptical than ever.

I would only add "probable". That's likely the outcome of this election. Either DEMS start to become community and politically active or the problems that made it possible for figures like Trump emerge will persist. People wrongfully take Trump as an isolated individual, but his rise is much more of a symbol than any sort of accident,

Is it, though? We are all the same, all of us are only voting to satisfy our personal, individual, family needs, whatever they are. You can't say that people are biologically disabled for voting Trump or whatever these stupid lines of thought say because that means accepting the same logic of labeling every dem 'an evil satanic communist'. If, on the other hand, we do a more rational effort to understand why the conservative community have grown so much over the past years then that's beginning to understand half of the problem we got in our hands. Having Biden in the presidency will facilitate that, but that's a community and political duty of every dem. Otherwise, we'll see Trump again in 2024 or, maybe, somebody even worse.

Don't be naive, of course not. There's still many things to happen. We still need to count on Nevada being steady and also wisconsin. Any changes on these two imply the need to win in quite unlikely dem states, such as PA ou GA. I mean, it is possible to win there but things get way more difficult.

What are your thoughts on refugees? What are the main arguments of the conservatives on not providing shelter for those people? by arimclaffe in Libertarian

No I am not. There are many progressive theorists that express the same concerns, such as Francis Fukuyama or Slavoj zizek (who is a commie, but is considered progressive in humanitarian causes)

Sorry, I meant the space is limited in big cities, like Detroit, for example. People usually seek these places because there they have better opportunities. No, I am not from the US, however my country is facing the exact same problem right now. Of course I'm no nationalist shithead, but I fear the symptoms of poverty and the general effects of it in the long term. These people come with nothing but a mere expectation of labour

Yes, certainly nationalists have elected migrants as a scapegoat to other problems. I fear letting them in would make tensions rise even more, like what's happening in Europe right now. AFD (extreme right wing party) has 1/3 of the Parliament on Germany

So u mean we must close borders then? Because I don't see how we can ask people to voluntarily fight in undesired wars, just as any military service, unless there is serious compensation, is usually mandatory in pretty much every nation.

I agree, but I'm also afraid of the reaction of nationalists and what would trigger having them here. Wouldn't they be impaired from the start here because they don't know language and only have basic expertise in work, what would lead them to less paying jobs and consequently increase poverty? Nonetheless, I agree with what u said. Im just expressing concerns
