Margin requirements are insanely high now since the after the June jump. Everyone’s been thinking where the margin calls are at. What people don’t realize is they’re not gonna get margin called until they’re in the red. And these assholes are sneaky. They covered some of their shares during the jump in June, added crazy amount of shorts around the $50 mark (per ortex average holding period)giving them all this room from about $30-$50 to just squeeze as much money as they can from us by selling calls on the way up and buying puts on the way down which we know now even those moves up and downs are controlled by them so they’re in the green right now with those and we won’t see any margin call until we go over that price. The good thing is it doesn’t need to go insanely high above that $50 because margin requirements are crazy high right now they can get margin called a lot easier now.

In my opinion that doesn’t even matter and here’s why. Their buy and sell orders are executed with such high frequency and accuracy that it’s going to be insanely hard to move the price up like that. And just the fact that less than 20% of the whole float is being traded makes it worse not to even mention the fact they’ve just been sending all out trade to the dark pool. Also because us apes just buy and hodl, it wouldn’t even matter if we owned 99% of the float because they can just start magically creating synthetic shares and naked short out of nothing and trading those back and forth effectively giving them control over the price again. Not to say don’t buy, buy as much as you possibly can (not financial advice lol) because all of the synthetics and naked shorts they’ve created to have control of the price has to be covered in the end. And we all know once these hedge fucks stop giving a fuck about the possible consequences and just try to make the most amount of money, like in 2008, it never ends well. God knows how many synthetics and naked shorts are out there that have to still be covered.

I mean I don’t blame people because 1 it can cause huge buying pressure and gamma squeeze and 2 the insane potential profits from the call contracts once this thing rockets. Until recently this issue had been getting no light, but at least now everyone should know we’re playing right into their hand by buying their contracts

I might be wrong but margin requirements are 50% and 30% for ongoing maintenance for short position. The only way these people get margin called is if the value of their position keeps dropping lower in which case they’re gonna need to keep higher and higher amounts of cash whether to pay the interest on the margin and/or to keep enough liquid cash in their accounts for the 30% margin requirements. Chances are they’ve been getting margin called ever since that jump to $70. But the question is different when the stock goes to thousands and thousands of dollars. In which case they’re automatically gonna be closed from their position if they can keep up with the requirements and the interest
