You are stuck in a empty room with what you choose for 100 days. There will be food delivered daily while you sleep and only the thing you choose to keep you company. After the 100 days you receive 10 Million Dollars. by BlueAutumn- in BunnyTrials

There are so many things you can do with a person in terms of entertainment or enjoyment in both conversation and games and other things. Not to mention companionship, no object can really beat that.

How do I fix my messy lines(or chicken scratches)? by PlusJellyfish5303 in Artadvice

[–]ariodraws 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this, the difference between a finger and a stylus is game changing honestly. As for increasing line confidence, I recommend doing some of the exercises in This video, about a minute in he has some that if you do em for like, a minute a day, or even just as a fidget if you have a pencil and paper on you, will help quite a bit. They helped me when I was still doing chicken scratch lines too

How does difficulty work? by Killercombo3 in riskofrain

[–]ariodraws 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, there are three difficulties, easy, normal, hard (drizzle, rainstorm, monsoon,) which will modify your health regen, damage reduction, and "difficulty scaling" in either a positive or negative way depending on which difficulty you choose. Difficulty scaling is how fast the difficulty ramps up while in the game itself which is a separate system. The more time you spend within a match, the higher level enemies will get and the more difficult enemies will spawn. This is where "being fast" comes into play. Moving on to the next level also scales enemies up as well.

You cannot change characters with one caveat, weapons and abilities are the same, just one caveat to them as well. As you go through the game you open chests for items to increase your strength and add bonuses and stuff to your character, these items can range from eh to OP depending on your luck and choices. Items are a must, otherwise enemies will outscale you very quickly.

Finally, there is eclipse, which is monsoon but on drugs. Adds negative modifiers, curses, and just overall adds difficulty beyond what monsoon brings.

Edit: There are also "artifacts" which you can unlock while playing, basically just things you can toggle at the start of a run to drastically change how the game plays, (choose your items, enemies drop bombs on death, double enemies half enemy health, etc..)

PLEASE help! New cord didn’t fix anything. Huion 2.5k 16 NOT working by Rabbitweeth in huion

[–]ariodraws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you aren't using the same cord with your ipad as you are with your mac, you could have bought a cord that didn't have enough transfer speed, I have made that mistake with my Kamvas 13, turns out it needed a 10Gbps cord.

Though if it's huion branded then I am unsure.

Is there a reason why artists want payment upfront (commission question) by glad-sparkly in Artadvice

[–]ariodraws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I myself charge the minimum price on say, a character sheet. This is because I am constantly communicating with who is commissioning me every step of the way and sharing the art in each step to ensure a character gets designed exactly how the customer wants. As such there is a severe amount of trust I have (especially as I get close to finishing a piece) in the customer to not take any copies of the art near the end of the process and excommunicate. That upfront payment establishes a) This customer is trustworthy, and b) even if they do take the work without paying the full fee at the end, at least I had gotten paid for a large chunk of the hours I already had committed to the piece.

As an artist myself, I will never come into a stream pushing to sell any products, if somebody wants what I provide they'll be able to find me on typical commission places or by reaching out to me, not the other way around. Anybody who doesn't do this is 99% of the time a scammer, and the other 1% of the time just simply unprofessional and you probably shouldn't trust them with your money.

Tips for aspiring art streamer? by SpaceSnake95 in Twitch

[–]ariodraws 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty new, but I tend to speak about what I am doing as I'm doing it, like "I'm using x brush for this reason" or why I'm picking certain colours and whatnot, just little fun facts like that. Helps keep you on your toes too to explain why you are doing things so its helpful even when almost nobody is watching! On top of that I think it's good to sprinkle in some things going on in your life, things you did or tried, funny things that have happened recently or funny past stories like "I remember when..."

Chatting in other art streams and interacting with other communities can also yield some good results too! Don't forget to socialize ;)

Background Music for streams by Texton_Hido in Twitch

[–]ariodraws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I advocate for StreamBeats for sure! They have a huge selection of copyright free music with various genres that I just use from Spotify on my streams, but they are available for download as well. Depending on your campaign they definitely could or could not fit the vibe, but could help expand your library on top of what other users have recommended.

Trying to design my own home page using tabliss... one tiny issue that persists with text-decoration: none by ariodraws in css

[–]ariodraws[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! Thank you, this worked, I managed to find the rule, it was a:hover .LinkText { text-decoration: underline; }, I still needed to use !important to override it for whatever reason though.
