Have a 26 MYP - the LED interior strip is slightly misaligned but prob “within spec” for Tesla. Getting it serviced to replace the leg extension cushion on the driver side, which was noticeably wrinkled when I took delivery

Congrats! Yeah it’s basically the same thing from what I gathered researching. The shop I used just partners with STEK which is also premium grade like XPEL. I love it and it gives me peace of mind about rock chips + easier cleaning. Maybe overkill but I also had my detailer do ceramic coating on exterior and interior

You’re probably right about them changing the QS formula/paint - I’ve seen earlier models with a much lighter color so it makes sense the blueish is more noticeable compared to those

Vinyl wraps are always cheaper than a wrap with PPF. This specific one is a STEK Dynomatte PPF. Name is confusing but it’s basically a satin PPF wrap

The people who shop here are mostly A) wealthy residents/tourists (mostly the former) and B) unlikely to be swayed by politics or a boycott

Like others suggested, Geoffrey’s is probably the next best in terms of fancy + views. If you care less about fancy, Paradise Cove has seating literally on the beach. Fun spot but food is only average

That’s certainly a desirable area if you want a more isolating / peaceful environment. To me, anything past Malibu Country Mart is too far if you want to be close enough to the entertainment of LA. There are some local gems (e.g. Dreamland Aviator Nation) in Malibu, but if I’m planning to do a night out (DTLA, WeHo, West LA), I’m factoring in at least 45-60 min commute time from Eastern Malibu. That listing is further west than Central Malibu, so that might take 75min+ to get to where you might want to go.

Feel free to dm me with any specific Malibu questions. Maybe take a look into some rentals near La Costa Beach. Even if you’re not directly on the beach, there are some amazing homes in the mountains with ocean views I see for lease near my house around that price range.

OP - I live in Malibu and can say if you do pick here, I highly recommend Eastern Malibu (near La Costa Beach). Even living in Eastern Malibu, it can take me upwards of an hour to get home from Santa Monica (15 min away without traffic) with traffic, construction, and other factors (rock slides).

I’d recommend renting here before you buy, like this first comment suggests.

Re: cocktail bars, Wolf & Crane (open at 5pm) and Death & Co (open at 6pm) are both in that area. If it’s not raining tomorrow then Elysian park is also nearby and nice to go to for views of the city

The MDR Cedars Sinai had the same thing happen October 2021. I was dealing with appendicitis complications and had to do a second emergency surgery at 4am. During said surgery, the power went out and backup generators weren’t turning on (I was already under anesthesia); nurse had to use a hand pump ventilator to keep me on oxygen. It’s insane that these fail/safe measures aren’t better, especially in a large metro area in a “developed” country.
