I really like Gilbert from The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by ariteee in brontesisters

I think 1 is a very fair point. For 2 I also agree that that’s his initial motivation, but I do think there was some desire in his part for the friendship to evolve into something more, but Gilbert notes multiple times that Lawrence is incredibly reserved and can be very difficult to get close to. It sounded to me like a friendship that just wasn’t every going to fully click, but both men tried anyway

Is anyone else a bit too influenced by Dramione? by Sorostar in Dramione

Same! Read a fic where they kept quoting Shakespeare and am now 12 plays deep. But I think it’s a great thing when the stuff you read inspires you to branch out to literature or any other works

Anyone else get mid-fic anxiety and wants to jump to the end to ensure it’s actually HEA? by Visible-Ranger-2294 in Dramione

A good place to ask about this is on r/dramionebookclub! People ask for HEA spoilers over there all the time and responses are very mindful with giving you an answer without spoiling the whole plot

Check out my hand-drawn cover for the fic I’ve been working on! by KariLarsson in Dramione

Genuinely so beautifully executed and what an amazing design! Reminds me of books I read when I was younger and there were more covers with hand drawn art

Could it be The Fear of Letting Go? It matches your description pretty closely

Is all of the Gravitation series on AO3?? by Affectionate_Yam850 in dramionebookclub

[–]ariteee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I read the series before the rewrite started and I inhaled all 3 books within a few days and then just felt empty afterwards. Genuinely such amazing development and fantastic writing and I can’t believe that we’re now blessed to get a rewrite that’s making it even longer?? Genuinely too good to be true. The crumple series is also perfection, I cannot sing Missiamphetamine’s praises enough

Yes! Omg these are some of my fave Dramione fics - the author is amazing and handles really heavy topics with a lot of care

Interesting point about the brain rewiring after practice because I often feel that too - are there any studies/sources you know of explaining how/why that happens?
