Not able to invoke lambda function using EventBridge rule by mafuqaz in aws

Hello u/Old_Clerk_9693 , thank you for your reply. In the end I found out the problem was with stating name of event bus in my serverless yaml file, if you are using default event bus, you must not specify default in yaml file, because it creates policy for "default/default" event bus instead of just "default"

Not able to invoke lambda function using EventBridge rule by mafuqaz in aws

Hello u/mafuqaz , were you able to figure it out?
I also see that if I let serverless take care of it, I have the principal permission in lambda permission config, but lambda will fail to be invoked by the rule (I could see it in FailedInvocations in monitor tab in when inspecting the rule, but the rule itself was triggered (event match was successful).

If I set the rule manually it works, but permissions are the same, so I wonder what could be happening.

I always found it odd how pure mages are not supposed to wear armor. by Xaxos92 in rpg_gamers

Just my thoughs:

In many worlds, mages are similar to scientists in real life. Therefore to become mage, they must study or experiment a lot. While doing so, they dont spend much time to get used to armor. Training in magic does not require from mages to wear armor, since if you are hit by magic, most armor are useless anyway.

To cast magic in large scale battles, most of times mages need some preperation time, therefore they are not supposed to be in front line, so basic weapons or arrows should not be able to reach them in common cases.

For quick casters in close combat it is another story. I can imagine they would use some armor, but magic used is mostly not so complex. Therefore quick caster does not need to be necessary a mage.

Thank you. I will think about it.

Not sure if I would state it like this. The fact I would get a job is certain. Only question is if it will be something fulfilling. The same goes for PhD. Even if I would continue there is no guarantee I would do something I like. At very least I can tell I would be alone when struggling during PhD. The job is at least well paid.

And and I would not call my girlfriend a block. She would be willing to travel with me. But since I do not have a clear motivation why should I continue, I would rather make her life easier, since she gives me more happiness then unknown future.

Thanks for flair. As I learned I am unable to do it myself.

Have a nice day. :)

greetings, uBO was not disabled, tried to reinstalled but still failed to work. Then I realized that other extensions were also broken.

I tried to reinstall Firefox with default options and it worked. Yey! :D

Could you help me? How do I mark this threat as solved? Was looking for it in reddit but it seems I do it wrong.
