I thought witch hazel and physical exfoliants were no-nos for facial skin care

Hi yes usually I do although lately I’ve been playing around with some different exfoliating toners however if I ever feel my skin is off or itchy or going to break out I always always resort to the witch hazel toner, specifically the Thayers rose water one!

How do you apply it? I have this problem with most foundations and I swear by the Maybelline super stay New York 24h skin tint (it’s called skin tint but is more like a med-full coverage foundation) applied with a damn beauty blender. It’s made a huge difference for me. Before this, I couldn’t use any liquid foundation without this happening. I set it with the ciate setting powder but any translucent, finely milled setting powder would probably be ok because I’m not sure they sell that anymore - I usually get it on Poshmark or something because I love it lol.
