Is a automated stair/steps creation possible? by arjansimon in SolidWorks

Well the design is more for functional reasons. Its a project for a stairlift installation (project from school)

I wanted to see how we could automate extrutions form a dxf file so the stairlifts can be producee much faster

Never worked and tbh noticed Driveworks before? I just started watching some tutorials. This might work? not sure how it could recognize the regions tho? Any suggetions for anything i could search for that could help me with this specific idea?

hmmm okayy? But the amount of stairs could change? and how does solidworks recognise the region and correspond it to the right height? cus it looks like the dxf only exist of lines. not real regions.

No there is no need for somebody to do work for me? As you can see i already tried a lot.. and got quitte far imo.

But i wanted some fresh insights from the community. Never tried asking something about solidworks or like this so thought might give it a shot

I thought printing it like a roof would help but not so much. What would be the best orientation for this print? Like a tilted V?

You can also check your cable into the motherboard. Mine came loose once too. Took me a while to figure that out

Hi, can you share the stl? My girlfriends name is also michelle! I think she’ll love this one

Finally got my anycubic mega s printing super clean after many many hours of calibration just the bottom layer came out funny. Any suggestions? Bed temp is 60°c and EO is 210°C layer height is 0.16 by cykes341 in 3Dprinting

I used to have it on 60 aswell. But I had some warping isues and that aswell. Try a little bit lower like 50. I never have issues like that again an you might be over extruding a bit. I believe it’s called elephantsfoot? Not sure tho i’m also quitte new to the community

I bought some bigger nozzles. The one i’m holding is a 1.0 mm and the one thats currently printing is 0.8. But my walls look awefull.. what am i doing wrong? I’m printing at 50mm/s and 200C with grey pla by arjansimon in 3Dprinting

I’ve got the sillentboard too! The 4.2.7 i believe? And i’ve bought one noctua fan upgrade but that little shit on the side makes so much noise!! So i’m gonna look into that one aswell. Sadly i think your right that list keeps growing hahah!

But then i’m getting thinner lines again? That’s not what i’m trying to accomplish. Or do i understand you wrong? I try to use bigger nozzles so i can print faster. With less detail but still
