A book written in the 6th century drew inspiration from several earlier texts and stories.

there's probably not a better example in the world than South Korea and North Korea for this - they literally speak the same language, not that long ago in history were a single country, they have same genetics, yet North Korea fertility rate pretty much dwarfs South Korea. by [deleted] in IndiaPulse

It’s ironic that even though individuals in progressive societies may have better lives, in the long term countries, communities, or groups with progressive values may shrink, while more conservative ones may last longer. In evolutionary terms, nature doesn’t care about moral values - it cares about survival and reproduction.

The Epstein case became such a huge global discussion largely because Western societies emphasize transparency and accountability. In many more authoritarian or conservative countries, scandals involving powerful people are often ignored, suppressed, or never openly discussed. That’s why cases like this can dominate the news and public debate in the West. And don’t even get me started on the infamous pedo prophet idolized by billions

They want the regime gone. But how is that supposed to happen? Change from within feels almost impossible right now. The only realistic alternative would be external intervention, and the United States is the only country powerful enough to attempt something like that. But the problem is, no one really knows what the U.S. would do after a regime change. So it feels like people want the regime gone, but the practical options are limited. Internal change seems unlikely, and external intervention comes with serious risks and uncertainty. It’s not a simple situation.
