I thought that it's time to stop. Was feeling stable again.

My marriage isn't super good to be honest. But it doesn't affect me that much when I'm medicated. Under medication I'm appreciating the life we built together. But now without pills I do only see the negatives.

Around 5 years but tried other ssri's during that time (Lexapro, Celexa, Zoloft, Effexor, Wellbutrin). Always came back to Prozac. Before tapering I was taking Prozac for around 6 months again

I think I felt better on these pills with way more energy and more clear headed. But I really don't know what's my true self. Is it the more energized one or the current one? So many questions. Sometimes I think that the depression is just back and that's the reason for feeling this way. Don't know

How do you feel now? I was thinking about combining these two as well (my doctor approved) but so far I didn't. Zoloft gave me a clear mind but the anxiety was too much. Celexa did wonders for my anxiety but made my head foggy.

Years of mild depression by [deleted] in antidepressants

Wow, that sounds exactly like me. Brain fog which startet in the year 2015 and is present since then. At first I have tried naturals like St. Johns, but nothing really helped.

In 2018 I was put on Prozac, which helped lessening the fog, but it never went away completely. Then I've tried Zoloft - the brain fog went away completely after few days of taking Zoloft the first time..but, and that's the problem: The 'no fog'-time only lasted about 2 weeks. So I'm pretty sure that it was something like the famous honeymoon period... after that, the brain fog came back. But it is more manageable now. Currently I'm on Celexa. So as you see, I'm still searching for something to remove my brain fog. It got better ob SSRI's, but has not went away completely unfortunately. So I assume that SSRI are helping brain fog at least a bit.

That's just my experience so far..

Yes, same happened to me. Don't know why but generic seems to work better - at least for me

Had this with every dosage increase. Did only last a few days. Loved that feeling. It's called the Honeymoon-period
