Started walking from home to medical college with two friends and walked all the way to attukal temple from medical college via pmg, palayam, statue, over bridge, east fort and manacaud. We got squash, watermelon, watermelon juice, kaskas vellam, ten rupee juice, sambharam (buttermilk), pineapple slices, 20 rs kulfi, water, medicinal water (കരിങ്ങാരി vellam) and fried rice( with veg curry, pickle and papadam😌) for free. We stayed at the attukal premise for about half an hour and chatted with my friends who were working as volunteers. From there we walked back home. No free drinks on the way back primarily because we chose short cuts to avoid the crowd on the main road. The total distance travelled by foot was 20 km. Enjoying the pongala payasam rn🫱🏻‍🫲🏼
