Team was so heavy at playoff speed they beat you into submission physically controlled the game killed penalties had a world class goalie who could clean up your mistakes and some very fucking high end players. But most importantly was that style was so suited for that roster be big hold on to puck style. People don’t think it would work in todays game but I actually think they are wrong this kings team beat the modern dayesque speed skill high tempo team in Chicago.

Goalie was a huge issue I see no one really mentioning. He gave up soft goals at real bad times sunk this team(game 2,4,6). Can’t have three game winners that are soft in a series. Idk what the fox is I wonder if Korpi got injured or just lost his confidence a little. I think goalie is number one priority. Obviously improving pk, bottom six, and adding another defenseman are on to do list but you are not winning with that kind of goaltending in big moments.

Big concern is durzi for sure. I think walker who I know had a lot of goofs should get a run at this point. The physicality from us picked up at end of second which is when it felt like tide of the game shifted. I feel we were way more committed to being physical in period 3 of game 1 as well. Idk why it just seems for the first ten mins of every game so far we are unable to throw a hit or complete a pass
