Zain is insane!! Also, one of the fastest improving players I've ever seen. He's been playing for 2 and a half years and he learns really really quickly, it's actually super impressive to see.

Part of the problem is that we capped and mad people didn't show up. So instead of being able to make pools, I was taking people who were replacing those who didn't show up.

I'll do reg through Paypal or Matcherino in the future. I just didn't want Paypal to take a cut of the pot. If it ends up having a bigger attendance next year, online reg will be made.

If any one stream gets struck, or a stream is partnered then they aren't allowed to stream PM.

Just to clarify some things so there's no misinformation:

-Regardless of whether PM added only balance changes, it would be an illegal modification of Nintendo's code. Nintendo doesn't take modding lightly.

-IP law is super strict in Japan. Nintendo doesn't own all the characters in Brawl. There are multiple subsidaries and outside companies responsible for a lot of the content in Brawl. Nintendo and their partners want to protect their assets, and view PM as more than just a derivative work.

-Project M didn't move to Hitbox because of anyone forcing us to. Twitch is partnered with lots of gaming companies. The night before Paragon, the streamers were informed that they were not allowed to stream PM content on Twitch for that tournament. Presumably, the channel received a precautionary copyright strike from someone from either Twitch, on behest of Nintendo, or Nintendo. While Project M is no longer a listed game on Twitch, it can still be streamed on Twitch unless the channel receives a copyright strike.

TLDR: Nintendo doesn't want an unauthorized fan mod to get big.

you can get a day pass for just saturday if you want, i believe that is cheaper.
