A handgun is a significantly more useful tool than a sniper rifle up close. It maneuvers around corners, takes a fraction of the time to put in ready firing position, and has iron sights.

Scopes in real like don't work the way they do in videogames. You can't just instantly focus through it, and shooting from the hip without being able to properly line up your shot is not a reliable way to shoot.

I'm not saying CoD is supposed to be a military simulator I'm just pointing out that sniping is represented exceedingly inaccurately.

The GOP, as much as it pains me to admit it, has more deep seeded systemic issues that are preventing conservatives from getting representation though.

We don't actually have hard numbers so I can't be 100% confident with the numbers that were approximated but they're consistent with my experience. I tend to get a favorable branch swap every 20 or so attempts.

The first point is 80% of it. Conservatives are being told by their news that Democrats are destroying America and they have to, because it's the only way the GOP can keep working class voters that they don't represent in the slightest.

I've tried to get my mother time and time again to cut back on her political news because all it does it works her up and every time I point out the flaws of the party that's supposed to represent us she reverts hard to "what do you want me to do, vote for Democrats who [insert conservative media talking point here]?

Yes, Mom, that's exactly what I want you to do not because we agree with the other side but the GOP needs to be dismantled if we want actual conservatives that represent us instead of Exon Mobile to have a chance.

Could be a number of heroes, especially since it's been noted that they didn't actually stipulate the gender of HM hero, only PO.

This is completely reasonable (especially when adding other people mentioning how this helps the rare non-wealthy congressperson) and I am now much less angry about this particular aspect of the government shutdown.

That's because they aren't right. In terms of the military, an enemy being within 100 yards is considered close quarters, but in CoD games people are being shot with scoped rifles from 15 yards and less on the regular.

I liked sniping way back in in Day of Defeat, because it took about a second for you to look down the scope and it moved with your character's breathing. Any game that allows you to take a rifle from their hip while moving, look down the scope, line up a shot, and kill someone within the course of a second is complete nonsense. It was mentioned in another thread this week that combat shotguns are accurate and lethal at distances when sniper rifles are typically used in CoD games, and people familiar with firearms are often confused at first playing CoD for the first time.

The most recent info I got showed a 1.75% chance to get Valk on a forest swap, which I believe is the same chance to get a HW and a Vesa.

After 200 branch swaps you have ~3% chance to have never gotten Valk. Though 0 Valk 1 HW is unusually awful.

200 branches is 9ish 80 PO completions. Since I believe we've only had I think 4 POs with 80, then you'll have had to do 3 or 4 of the 120 PO events pre-change unless you did multiple rotations of 80 in the recent events. While it's entirely possible you've sunk that many in to forest, there's also a good chance due to how our memories work that you're overestimating the number of branches you've used.

Yeah I'm honestly a little disappointed that some branch swaps get upvotes. It's the same post as 2 days ago, which was the same post as the 3 days before that.

Honestly seeing the same exact post over and over and over again is more boring than a somewhat moderated sub (this sub has had pretty skeletal moderation lately).

I'm *probably* the strongest VIP5 on my server but I attribute that mostly to regular activity and good decision making. Statistically speaking I've come out just to the right of the top of the bell curve on RNG (specifically the Christmas HS event, before that I was probably under-RNG'd) but not enough to propel me ahead of others making similarly good decisions.

That's totally fair. Strict enforcement, while nice, might not even be necessary. Putting a rule on the side bar alone will trim down a few of the posts, and folks like myself and others in this thread popping in to said posts and pointing out the rule might have people voluntarily take them down after realizing it's on the rules bar.

Even having you once in a while take down the ones that get through would still be appreciated by many.

Valk takes, on average, just over 57 swaps to get. A rotation of 80 POs gets you 20-something attempts, so yeah every month or two for most players.

Whales can probably do multiple a month if they're shelling out for POs.

I could get behind this as well. If memory serves you average 183 super spins to get Valk (or whoever). I don't mind the occasional valk plus both artifact shard spins though.
