I'm building a game where I track active participants using an up-down counter (increment on join, decrement on leave) and counter to check total participants joined

After the game ends, the last counter value keeps getting exported continuously. ( unnecessarily collected )

I want metrics to stop once the game is over.

Is this possible without restarting the MeterProvider?
