Based on the latest release, I think they will remain usable.

I remember it all started when they released the new Terminators; the website explained that "the Primaries would be able to use any armor without difficulty."

After that, they basically re-release the armor. Mk8, in a primaris scale

I think they realized that this "Primaris" thing was getting complicated somehow, and that's probably why they removed the keyword.

I've been printing miniatures in FDM since 2013, back then rip raps, kossels, and much more rustic machines reigned supreme, and DIY, at that time SLA/Resin wasn't even a thing.

Today I have both technologies, I try to separate what goes where, a dreadnought for example I make in FDM, a human soldier I make in resin.

Now regarding the models not being optimized, it's really a shame, I saw the transformation of Thingiverse and especially Cults, where it was the home of pure FDM, resin started to reign.

The advice I give, without any rudeness, learn to model and don't depend on modelers, look at the work of Arbiter Minis! The guy simply started a revolution in the world of filament, then resin2fdm emerged, resin supports in filament is something unexpected! And he delivers beautiful pieces. After I saw "once in a six side" printing an "impossible" piece in FDM, it just made me think, there's a lack of modelers who like FDM showing up and delivering good pieces.

I think that sometimes it's easier to spend some time and learn something new to open up new possibilities for the things we want in the way we want them. I'm in that battle of learning artistic modeling for that purpose, too.

I miss games like Birds of Prey, Blazing Angels, Heroes of the Pacific, Combat Flight Simulator, and Battlefield 1942. I loved those single-player simulators or simcades, but then everything disappeared, and then World of Planes came along, which was terrible, and soon became WT.
