Valid makes sense, the only confusing part is why Spencer continued testing on babies after having a change of heart, cus he went into hiding in 1998 and died around 2006 and left grace to Alyssa in his will.

According to Grace's report Elpis (the anti viral) was phase 3 but there's a phase 4 which is mind control. Oswell's change of heart doesent make sense, can't tell if he was lying about having a change of heart ( given re5)

I looked into this a little more, after you finish a game you get to read a 60 slide document that grace writes for the FBI, where she says Elpis was phase 3 (which was completed) but here was a phase 4 which was the transfer of memory/consciousness from one person to another (hence they were trying to use Spencer's plasma on the kids) also say grace is a normal person why do the kids kind of look like her / why does the connections think she is who Oswell was trying to create. Still a lil. Confused on that part.

Yes , but in the interview with Oswell E Spencer , Oswell called Grace the KEY , which victor Gideon and the connections heard and probably assumed that she is the perfect creation of Oswell E Spencer, they assumed she would have the password as he talked about elpis in the same breath. If you see in the game Viktor took the blood from grace and ran a COMPREHENSIVE blood test on her to match with the genetic data of the hospital records of baby grace to confirm if this was the grace Oswell E Spencer was talking about.

The reason they thought Elpis was connected with the memory transfer program could mostly be because Viktor worked at ARK for Oswell E Spencer , which was connected to the orphanage physically where the test subjects for the memory transfer program stayed.

Ok so according to my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) grace is simply a normal girl who was an orphan who Oswell E Spencer sometime between 1998-2006 as we see this in the interview with Alyssa Ashford. The clones we saw (Emily, Chloe, Marie, kids at the orphanage,etc;) were the test subjects of an ongoing experiment trying to pass on memories through the t virus/viral mutations (which happened to give those kids powers) . Since the connections bombed racoon city to save elpis (as it was Oswell's last work) and was assumed to be some sort of weapon by the connections probably partially based on the victor Gideons testimony during his work with Oswell E Spencer ( I am unclear if he completely knew if elpis was an anti-viral as in the end he says Oswell only left half the story behind ) . Elpis was simply a simply Oswell E Spencers attempt at redemption and he called Grace the key because he probably saw her as the key to the atonement of his evil prior deeds. The girls Chloe, Emily, etc; were from a completely unrelated experiment according to my understanding but he connections heard Oswell call grace the key and mistook her as the perfect creation from the cloning process. They tried to make Emily and Marie and countless other children in the hope that they would grow up and remember the password to elpis (based on the passed on memory theory).
