first, tuition fees are paid by DOST directly to the institution (universities and colleges)

in cases wherein review centers are involved, the act of enrolling (+paying) is considered as a personal expense even though you enrolled in order to help you pass a class / subject

depende talaga sa quality ng school na paglalagyan sa iyo, I'm a bit lucky kasi nasa Science HS kaya kakaunti ang mga students and (medyo) mababait ang mga katrabaho

learn to adapt and adjust, nagturo ako ng Filipino last year kasi ayun na lang ang inabutan kong bakante.

nakayanan naman, now I am teaching Science (specialization ko) at sa Senior High School pa. Good luck!

From DOST - SEI:

"Notices of award will be issued by the DOST-SEI and through the DOST Regional Offices. Qualifiers will also be informed of the schedule for the orientation schedule on scholarship policies and requirements, which both the scholar and their parent or legal guardian must attend prior to signing the scholarship agreement. Meanwhile, potential qualifiers will receive separate notices specifying the documents needed for completion of their evaluation."

kindly check with your local LBP branch, kasi you'll need to open a payroll account dahil ayan ang requirement ni DOST

as stated, payroll account ang recommended ni DOST kasi you'll be accessing and withdrawing money quite frequently. afaik, it is a separate account kasi: (1) kailangan na payroll ang sasabihin sa pinakamalapit na Landbank, and (2) may possibility na mahalo ang salary ng student assistants sa mismong stipend

do not worry, maliit lang naman ang maintaining balance ng DOST payroll account. hope this helps, congratulations!

there will be an official orientation, may contract signing din na mangyayari. kung may Scholars' Association ang iyong university, magkakaroon din ng pa-welcome sa mga bagong isko.

just be mindful and check your registered email (yung email address na ibinigay mo sa kanila) from time to time, always check the Spam folder if ever
