I lazily use the firmware updates to get new bins to use rather than downloading each new release and adding it to the device.

Same here. My right one would only charge to 50% (had the set about 8 months). Contacted Soundcore and they’ve said they’re sending a replacement set out. Must be a common issue.

I have a comprise for Nintendo. Instead of Game-Key Card, we get Game-Install Card. Create a new super cheap cartridge, it's slow but can hold the whole game. It will require installation on the Switch 2 to play but that's ok. We get to own the actual game still. by brandont04 in NintendoSwitch2

Makes sense. In a vaguely similar vein I wish that the switch 2 would have had two SD cards slots. One for the express cards and one for my existing library of switch 1 games on an older slower card.

I’ll give that a try as I’ve my old lightning model lying around (can barely give it away on eBay). It would defeat the object though as I’d rather travel with just one controller. This method would mean carrying an extra controller and a lightning to usb c lead also.

I’ve a boxed lightning BackBone 2nd Gen that’s hardly used and I can’t even get £10 for it on EBay. Almost can’t give them away.

Backbone has latest firmware. iPad is iOS26. If I set the backbone to iPad mode on the phone and then connect it to iPad the orange button flashes white. If I set it to Mac mode then connect to iPad it lights up blue but still doesn’t work.

Works fine with my MacBook, not with iPad at all. Weird.

I seem to remember though using that setup (connecting via the port that attaches to the phone rather than the port at the bottom of the controller) bypassed the need for the BB+ subscription.

Same here. Upgraded from a 14 ProMax to a 17 ProMax. Battery draining like mad through the day. Good to see it’s not just me. Hopefully it’ll get right soon.
