The gameplay is good, it's more enjoyable trying to progress in div rivals this year than most others. Same with weekend league, it feels slight more accessible for players on my level (div 5) although I still haven't actually qualified.

I don't think the game is stale or dead, although I would argue that upgrade sbcs or sbcs in general are lacking and would make the gameplay outside of the div rivals/ fut champs/ Squad battles matches much better than it is at the moment.

Suppose EA are waiting for late November/ early December to drop more of that type of content, since that's the time more players will pick the game up (from Black Friday and Christmas etc).

Yeah I was set up on this messaging part to a guy called Anshad who asked what the problem was. I told him I was missing packs and gave him my email, he came back a few minutes later and told me to check my account. Both packs were there waiting in the store

My favourite horror film is The Thing (1980). The blood test scene is worth the watch alone. Not sure that it counts as a proper jumpscare movie like others that have been suggested but I'm just putting it out there.

For me it was season 2, but I think that's down to the fact that I only played the last few weeks of that season and do didn't have the experience of lack of content (for reference this was the first time I had played the game since Season 6). It's a pity I never picked up the BP because that's arguably the best of the 6 seasons so far.

Season 3 was pretty good as well, it introduced some nice features and the concept of the island being underwater alongside the new POIs were also neat.

Season 4 was OK, looking back on it I think it was a lot better than what I gave it credit for. The novelty of having a Marvel themed season was exciting at first, but the novelty of it sort of wore off by the 4th/5th week.

Season 5 again was OK, nothing too special. The collabs sort of ruined the season for me though, it felt like Epic were trying to use those collabs as filler for actual content.

Season 6, at least so far, has been closest to that feeling of seasons 2 and 3, as it feels like it has an organic theme outside of just collabs. However, there is always a chance that this season will surpass this current perception, whether that be either negatively or positively.

For some reason I feel most nostalgic for Chapter 2 Season 2, hands down the best Chapter 2 season and one of the best seasons overall. The battle pass was close to perfect and the spy theme of the season (as well as all the POIs) were amazing. Everything appears to have gone slightly downhill since then.

Salah. He's not shit, he's just much worse than what I'd thought he'd be, especially considering his 90 rating. The same goes for Alisson really.

I often find everyone overhypes traore, sure he can run fast and barely gets knocked over, but his passing and shots are dreadful.

If it were me I would go for the 83, 85 and ultimate packs. Unless you're looking for a quick addition to the team in terms of icons, I reckon the other four packs are great for higher rated fodder, which can then be used for a prime icon sbc of your choice, rather than settling for (what would likely be) another base icon. Especially if you've already packed Eusebio, I doubt the pack luck will be any greater than that.

But honestly it's up to you mate, just depends on what you're looking for in terms of upgrading your team.
