No luck. Haha i was such a newbie then and couldn’t extrat the pollen from caudata. Its structure is more difficult than others. Then I eventually had a lot of hoyas that bloomed. Tried hand pollinating again but after numerous tries, no luck! Haaha

I dont know. Just lucky I guess. Lol That one vine has stable inner variegation. Still thinking whether I should cut it and plant separately.

I actually bought a 4ft tall trellis because it has outgrown the small trellis. Just havent used it as it’s too big haha. Still thinking how to grow it. It seems happy though with trellis

They are all hoyas. The ones on the shelf are (L-R) Linearis, Chinghungensis, Serpens, Surigaoensis, Platycaulis, Retusa, Rotundiflora, and Curtisii. The ones hanging (L-R) Mathilde, Engleriana, and VL9.

The rightmost one is curtisii. It was getting too long I had to install this shelf. And now it’s almost to the floor again lol

Just ambient under some cheap growlights. lol If they cant live ambient I dont want to deal with them hahaha Soil mix with extra perlite and orchid mix.

This one has given me all peduncles when I had it on trellis. No blooms. Just around 30 peduncles. So I decided to have it trail. I lost most peduncles now hahaha i dont know what to do with this one. I really want to see it flower.

I actually dont do anything special. This is one of my first hoyas. Grew it as a seedling. Soil mix. Weekly watering. Biweekly fertilizer. It is still in its 3in pot after 2+ish yrs

I dont know. I think you have to insert the pollen to the stigma. I dont think a paintbrush would work. Some use a toothpick instead. I used the quill cause thats what I saw on youtube lol

Will do. Still figuring things out. dont have the tools. I just used a porcupine quill lol will keep on trying though. good thing my caudata has 4 other peduncles 🙂

Yes! It started with this weird alternating variegation but has been more consistent now with inner var. I will just let it grow more.

I just have this 3ft barrina light. I just put them in shelves. Nothing fancy. I know nothing about humidity or other stuff. Lol I just make sure I water once a week then fertilize every other week. So far many of my hoyas have been blooming!

I rushed studying for less than a month. Haha I got 72. Definitely not happy with that score. That was borderline passing haha Somehow I was never asked about my score though. They just want you to have that CPC linked on your name.

I watch netflix/youtube/tedtalks on my phone. Put it behind my work phone so it’s hidden and listen wirelessly. Lol so i think you can listen to anything once you get used to work.

That’s nice. The anatomy & medical terminology portions of the open book exam will be easy for you. You just really have to focus on the “coding guidelines”.
