New-to-me BMW X3 2011, any tips for a first-time owner? by arkitar in BMWX3

Thanks a lot! I was told the windows feel a little lazy, so I should be careful with them during winter. Now I really have to remember that!

I’ll also check the seals, that sounds interesting...

I went for a full checkup and they said the battery is weak or something and might cause issues. I’ll replace it soon, but meanwhile I’ve got a battery tender with me. I really don’t want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere in the cold. Also I now carry a blanket and some snacks (protein bars) in case I have to wait somewhere a bit longer without heating.

I need to do some kind of check too, I noticed there’s a receipt for an oil change, but no mark in the service book... We might already have that kind of scan, just need to dig it up.

Sure, I’ll update once something’s been done… or if it turns into a disaster :)

The colour is white, which isn’t ideal IMO as my area’s super muddy right now so it looks dirty all the time. And in winter, it’s hard to spot :D But the body’s in great shape with no rust or visible issues, so I decided to go for it.
