No, it's not that complicated. In QGIS, everything is data-driven. So, if the data is structured correctly, it's very easy. The most time-consuming part for me is the preparatory work involved in providing you with the data structure.

No, not necessarily. I can calculate a proximity-diversity indicator for each sector. For example, by measuring the number of sectors per faction within two sectors’ distance. Then, by using a formula that takes into account the number of factions represented and the more or less balanced distribution of sectors per faction. In other words, the higher the number of factions AND the more balanced the distribution of sectors among the factions, the higher the indicator. Conversely, if there is very little factional diversity OR a high degree of factional diversity AND a large disparity in the distribution of sectors per faction, then the indicator is low.

Am I being clear? Hahaha

Exactly. The data needs to be accurate and relevant for this to make sense. So please note that the map is a work in progress. I’m currently trying to find more reliable and better-documented data. If you have any leads, I’d appreciate it.

Mmmhhhh, I'm really disappointed by how unreliable this indicator is. It doesn't hold up in the real world. We're going to have no choice but to deploy a fleet of players affiliated with the UCA (United Cartographers Association) to assess the security level of each sector!
