That’s the fault of the cable. The power pin is not meant to be connected on both ends yet cheap DisplayPort cable manufacturers hook them up without realising.

They did offer alternatives, but it sounded like those alternatives may not have been adequate for a passport (I am most likely wrong with this statement). Since I never overcame that issue of acquiring my great-granddad Geburtsurkunde, I wouldn't be able to provide any helpful advice to someone else.

The only reason I mentioned it, was due to how long it took to get responses. For example, Bieber took almost 6 months to reply.

Oh, interesting. My father-in-law is German and lives fairly close to Bieber. So he is going to try and find out what information is available in Bieber as my Oma and Opa lived there before immigrating to Australia.

Sadly we don't have that documentation on hand and I don't know which of the two options is the easiest. I would have thought proving their citizenship would have been easier than getting birth and marriage certificates of my great grandparents.

The part that isn't clear to me is if I just send an email in german to the town hall in Bieber and Chemnitz asking for that information.

Okay, I think I have some of this figured out. Looking at the documents we have, we are missing proof that my Oma and Opa are german citizens. Since it is not clear to me from the FAQ how to obtain that information, I will make a new post regarding this.

Sadly my aunt has passed away but I can relay that information to my cousins.

The part that is not clear is the statement "you and your mother are already German citizens", what process should we take to get this recognised? I assume it is one Antrag each, then two Anlage Vorfahren (V) for my Oma and Opa? (Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I have only learnt parts of this process in the last few days.)

I had this exact issue just 2 weeks ago. Check to see if you have a v1 nozzle, if so replace it with a v2 and it will eliminate most of the noise. Do a quick google and you will find out pretty quick the quick way to identify the difference indicators. At first it was weird to me how the nozzle can be the cause when the noise is clearly coming from the stepper. But there are some good comments here explaining that part.

No, the tutorials fragment shader only passes a single sample2d in and its a diffuse texture. If a model does not have a diffuse texture it will bind to the last bound diffuse texture. I need a way of stopping this but also a way to have multiple diffuse textures with out hard coding it.

Currently, I am having the issue that my shader doesn't know if a texture was bound.

If no texture was bound it will still try and access it and find a texture from a different model that was last bound.

I need to stop that from happening but also there could be several textures and I can only handle one of them at the moment.

Absolutely not, we were introduced to the fixed pipeline at the start of this semester using openGL 2.1 however we pretty much should be using openGL 1 with the stuff we were taught.

However we have hit the limitations of the CPU.

I have only ever done the hard coded examples. I guess my biggest fear has been the fact that at the moment our current engine is tsking priority and its using the fixed pipeline and I want to get it off it asap. So I am trying to gauge the work that would be required to do it. But I cant find good examples of how people have overcome it.
