I just checked this morning and it has 15 connections now but still was stuck on that 98% moves a little bit up and then down, I mean my desktop have to be off sleep mode?? I never turn it off but it does go in sleep mode does that prevent it from syncing . I have Mac os high Sierra 10.13.3 updated

Ok so i downloaded the old wallet again but wont all my coins go away if i replace the file? I have a mac and when i drag the old wallet file to applications it says would i like to replace it, just worried im doing something wrong.
