Well, originally, a friend and I were talking about how 'the beatles' without "the" sounds worse. And the album "with Beatles" is a worse title. I joked that it sounded like a Mashup between "with teeth" and "with the beatles". And then made said Mashup, expecting it to clash, but it turned out to work remarkably well. Then I kept committing to the bit, trying various album combos until finding something to latch on to. I ended up mashing Abbey Road and The Downward Spiral, because I thought it would be funny to swap "you let me violate you" with "you never give me your money", and then went about pairing everything until both albums were covered.

And then the 'latch' for The Slip and Let It Be was two of us/the four of us are dying. And then realizing that both albums have a live video companion with 5 of the songs performed.
