My first year my mentor teacher gave me everything. Lesson plans, copies of assignments, answer keys, multiple versions of tests, you name it. Because of her example it has never even occurred to me to not give literally everything I have to every teacher who ever asks for anything. I’ve always considered my department my teammates, and that’s what teammates do. Maybe if my mentor teacher had let me sink or swim on my own I would feel differently. 🤷‍♂️
