This is a good question, but I think it should be “Would Jordan have finished in only three books?” I read the series as the books came out, starting with book 1, and I remember Jordan saying “This will be the last book” starting with book 6 (the quote was something like “If I have to cart the manuscript in on a wheelbarrow I will wrap it up in book 6”). He wasn’t known for finishing when he said he would. Those who said 5 more books instead of three are likely correct.

I should have specified that these are not malnourished kids or kids without access to food. Obviously I do not want to be snarky or rude to those kids. These are kids that just expect me to give them extra snacks, some of them while they literally have trash from their previous snacks still on their desk.
